Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit educational youth organization founded in Sacramento, California 1986 by Eric Murrell, Principal Lezell Williams, and Dr. Patricia Adelekan. All the above listed programs are affiliate programs of Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. They are copy righted and no part of them should be used without specific permission of the founder-Dr. Patricia Adelekan

The mission of the organization is help youth succeed in life with the help of positive community role models. Each affiliate is aimed to fulfill this mission.

Today, in 2009, we celebrate 24 years of existence and have chapters in Sacramento, California; the San Francisco Bay Area California; Los Angeles, California; Orange County, California; Memphis, Tennessee; The Fiji Islands; Nigeria, West Africa; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Wherever a chapter exists the focus of the organization depends upon the needs of the youth and families in that particular geological location.
